Welcome to the homepage for Departure, a commercial location and studio photography business based in Atlanta, Georgia.
I’m fortunate to have clients, who provide me with the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of people, places, and things. It has meant that every shoot is different, with new challenges to face, and new ways of approaching my subjects. This is what I love about my work – that I don’t do just one thing, approaching it the same way, over and over.
Having photographed such a large variety of subjects, it becomes difficult to narrow down what to show from my portfolio and what to leave out. I could simply show you my favorite 20 or so images, but that would not represent the broad range of subjects I love to shoot, and also leave you with a narrower view of what I’m capable of.
My solution is to show you my favorite 10 or so shots of the many different areas of photography in which I delve. To make it easy to navigate I’ve divided the images up by subject matter. To view my photographs, choose the subject you’re interested in from the navigation zone and then use the arrows that appear along side each image to move between the others within that subject.
